To insert a document with embedded document in a collection, you can use DBObject/BasicDBObject objects as shown below −


// Create an embedded document
BasicDBObject comment = new BasicDBObject();

comment.put("like", "0");

// create an array
List<String> tags = new ArrayList<String>();
